The Little Girl With The Big Hat.

Once there was a little girl who loved to go for walks.

She always wore a hat.

A big, rimmed hat.

She always wore fancy shoes.

Purple, sequined heels.

And she sang to herself as she went...clip, clop, clip, clop...down the sunny road.

"Look!" she squealed, spotting some napping ducks.

"Quack!" she cried, trying to say hello.

She watched them for a long time, the little girl with the big hat.

And the purple shoes.

But the ducks just floated lazily on the water.

So she quacked goodbye and trotted away.

Clip, clop, clip, clop, clip, clop.

The End.

I don't think I could walk very well in those shoes. Congrats Miss J. Love to all!

Cute story. Love the shoes and the "clip, clop" they make in your story. I also love the patterned shirt and the different patterned pants. That Jane definitely has a style of her own.

P.S. I put your name on the prayer roll again when I went to the temple yesterday. Hope you have a great weekend. :)

Love it! I need to get Eden a hat like that. Then I need you to come write a story about her wearing it for me. :) Precious.

Such a charming story! I must definitely be related to that girl because I have a favorite white straw hat I love to wear too... and I always have women tell me how much they like it (though Doug thinks it's a bit silly. You know the one--my garage sale hat.)
I love all the photos, but the last is my very favorite. Love the look!

I bet Jane loves hearing stories about herself. My little ones always did...so sad how they grow out of that stage.
